Etan Horowitz (pronounced A-tahn) is the technology reporter, columnist and blogger at the Orlando Sentinel.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Horowitz graduated from the University of Maryland and has worked at the Sentinel since 2004.
He writes a weekly column called “User’s Guide” where he reviews the latest products, software and trends and a weekly feature called “How 2” where he explains how to do a technology task in five easy steps. The columns and How 2 items run every Saturday in the Tech Support section. He also writes news stories about local technology companies, technology trends and telecommunications.
His technology blog is called "Etan on Tech" and he frequently produces videos to accompany his work.
Horowitz uses Facebook and Twitter to promote his work, find sources for stories and keep up to date with what's happening in Central Florida's technology community and the tech world in general.
